SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for an ongoing temporary Bank Reconciliations Assistant in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately matched and recorded
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Identify and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Update and maintain accurate records of reconciliations in the financial system
  • Assist with the preparation of month-end and year-end reports as required
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, to resolve outstanding items
  • Support ad hoc finance tasks as directed by the Finance Manager or senior team members

Key Experience :

  • Previous experience in bank reconciliations or a similar finance role
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and excel
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

Key Information :

  • Hybrid
  • Full Time 37.5hrs (Monday to Friday)
