Legal Cashier
Location: Birmingham City Centre
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
The Company:A well-established and reputable law firm located in the heart of Birmingham City Centre. With a strong focus on client service and professional growth, this firm is looking for an experienced Legal Cashier to join their finance team.
The Role:
- Processing client and office account transactions
- Handling the posting of financial transactions in line with SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority) rules
- Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations
- Assisting with monthly bank reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions
- Providing support with VAT returns and compliance
- Assisting with financial reporting and auditing
The Person:
- Previous experience as a Legal Cashier or within a similar finance role within a legal environment
- Knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules and legal financial regulations
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in legal accounting software (Aderant, Elite, or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in financial tasks
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with other departments
Salary & Benefits:
