Overview:

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a globally established manufacturing company on an immediate basis. This company are well renowned for delivering exceptionally high standards of service within their field but also known for their vibrant and warm working environment. This role will be office based in the outskirts of the Birmingham area.

The financial team is full of experienced industry leading professionals that create a sociable but efficient working culture. The roles main responsibilities consist of setting up and allocating customer payments, working with the wider team in supporting the business by preparing payment forecasting. Also uniquely providing support to the Accounts Payable team over in the United States.

Skills required:

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role is desired due to the high volume and value of accounts.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills are needed in order to manage vendors and collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team effectively.
  • An exceptional eye for detail needed in order to develop and implement improved processes and policies.
  • Strong level of understanding and proficiency in using excel with capability to work on Pivot tables and Vlookup's.
