Overview:

An exciting opportunity has become available working as a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a Birmingham based property business. You will need to be an immediately available candidate with prior experience in Accounts Payable. The main duties of this role will include preparing weekly and monthly supplier payments, reconciling purchase ledger accounts to supplier statements and ensuring invoices are approved in accordance with policies.

Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger Clerk position is preferable in order to help support process and system changes implemented to improve the Accounts Payable function.
  • Experienced in operating IT systems, particularly Microsoft Excel and ideally Qube or a similar property software application.
  • A team player that possesses strong communication skills needed to effectively liaise with suppliers, property managers and the wider finance team.
  • Effective time management to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously but prioritise workload commitments accordingly.
