An amazing opportunity has opened up within the finance department of a well-established, industry-leading manufacturing company based in Birmingham with international reach. The opportunity begins with a handover stage before maternity cover begins ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the role responsibilities.

The ideal candidate for this Purchase Ledger role is someone who is immediately available and is looking to improve their knowledge and gain valuable experience within a long-term contract. This is a varied and hands on position where you will handle reconciliations of accounts and supplier statements, as well as processing and paying internal invoices and supplier statements accurately, on time.

Skills required:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills to successfully handle queries and accounts whilst maintaining positive relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent time management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks.
  • Moderate knowledge of operating IT systems such as Microsoft Excel.
  • Clerical experience would be beneficial but it's not essential as knowledge gained through studies will be advantageous.
