We are eager to bring your attention to an exciting new Accounts Payable clerk opportunity within a highly active, fun finance team. Our client is an acclaimed, highly successful retail company based in Birmingham City Centre who focus on creating a passionate, collaborative environment.

They would like the right candidate to join them swiftly so you will need to be immediately available. The successful candidate will also need to have gained experience previously, and will need to be driven, enthusiastic, focused and ready to get stuck into a new challenge. The role will involve you reporting to the Accounts Payable manager and taking on an array of responsibilities within the Accounts Payable function. This includes organising and processing invoices, maintaining supplier relationships, dealing with supplier statements and resolving queries and reconciliations.

What you'll need:

  • Experience with the Accounts Payable function or within a similar role will be essential
  • Great attention to detail and organisational skills will be needed to successfully complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner
  • Adaptability and a positive, energetic mindset in regards to hitting the ground running in a new role
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills as you will be frequently collaborating with the finance team and working closely with the Accounts Payable manager
