A manufacturer and distributor is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their lovely office based in West Birmingham. This company is part of a growing multi-company group with a history of being committed to the quality of their products. This Purchase Ledger Clerk is a perfect fit for an individual who is keen on working in a team where their knowledge and skills will be valued and utilised to meet company objectives. The role has a variety of responsibilities such as, reconciliations of monthly supplier statements, liaising with stakeholders, handling queries, raising invoices, updating cash flows and liaising with other departments regarding customer and service debits.

What you will need:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and able to excel at working independently and collaboratively in a team to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Experience with accounts payable duties. Due to the structure of the company experience working within a multi-company group is particularly advantageous but not essential.
  • Be attentive to detail and dedicated to ensuring that financial processes are running at the highest level of accuracy and efficiency.
