Typical shifts; Day shifts – Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:30pm (some flexibility given)

Vanta Staffing are the exclusive staffing partner to an award winning commercial bakery.

Due to growth & contract wins, they are looking to strengthen their technical & quality assurance team with an experienced Technologist.

The successful Technologist duties will include;

Work with the quality & technical teams to ensure compliance to regulatory standards
Be up to speed with current UK & EU food legislation and
Validate all nutritional, health & provenance specs are accurate and validated
Update any changes and make sure recorded accurately on databases & packaging
Update & manage the QMS to meet BRCGS standards
Collaborate with internal teams on new product development initiatives
Update all necessary portals and databases

Required experience & characteristics of the Technologist;

At least 2years experience in with company manufacturing a similar product or category (ideally bread or bakery)
Relevant degree, HACCP level 2
1st class communication skills

Courteous, polite & professional
