The Opportunity

We are working with a leading provider of calibration services for electrical and electronic equipment across the manufacturing and healthcare sectors. This field-based role offers a realistic workload, clear scheduling, and opportunities for professional growth.

The Role

This role involves extensive travel across the South Midlands, Southwest UK, and occasional trips to Southern Ireland. Work is scheduled 4-6 weeks in advance and may include short appointments or larger multi-day projects at customer sites, such as hospitals.

Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate a wide range of test and measurement equipment.
  • Provide detailed calibration certificates and update job systems accurately.
  • Improve testing techniques and expand calibration parameters.
  • Liaise with repair technicians and administrative teams.
  • Follow procedures accurately while maintaining a professional attitude.
  • Work flexibly to meet customer requirements.

Success Measures:

  • Produce accurate calibration certificates and meet KPIs.
  • Deliver high standards of work and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate data and professional communication.

The Ideal Candidate

  • HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or relevant experience.
  • Experience in calibration or electrical/electronic instrumentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong mathematical and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Professional, adaptable, and self-motivated with excellent time management.
  • Backgrounds such as calibration service providers, field service engineers, or biomedical engineers are welcome.
