Involve Midlands are currently recruiting for a skilled Fabricator to join a dynamic team based in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and experience working with windows, doors, and curtain walling. Reporting to the Supervisor, this role requires an individual who can ensure quality standards are met, while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabrication: Fabricate windows, doors, and curtain walling to the highest quality standards.
Assembly: Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble products.
General Duties: Assist with operative tasks and handle materials and finished products carefully, following manual handling procedures.
Machinery Operation: Safely operate machinery and equipment.
Issue Reporting: Proactively raise production, quality, and Health & Safety concerns with supervisors and management.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and team members to ensure clear communication and task completion.
Team Support: Cover for colleagues in their absence and assist with site visits when necessary.
Environment: Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Administration: Ensure all paperwork, both hard and electronic, is accurately completed and filed.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in and support improvement projects and initiatives.

Prior experience in fabricating windows, doors, and curtain walling (preferred but not essential).
Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as machinery.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Adherence to Health & Safety regulations and manual handling practices.
Willingness to learn and engage in continuous development.
