A fantastic opportunity has become available working as a Bookkeeper for an Accountancy practice-based South of the Birmingham area. This position is perfect for a driven and enthusiastic individual who would be available to start immediately. This role is purely office based but provides flexible and unique working hour arrangements, you will be working within the business support unit of the finance department which is made up of a small and inclusive team. This practice has a strong reputation within the sector and has been successfully delivering services for the last 40 years.

This vacancy is a great opportunity for an individual that is versatile and able to demonstrate clear initiative in completing tasks accurately and consistently. A candidate that has previous experience working in a Bookkeeper position would be beneficial as the role involves dealing with a variety of different professional clients on a daily basis. This position would be working on a part time basis and would require someone that has personal access to a vehicle.

Skills required:

Prior experience in various different bookkeeping types is preferable due to the amount of clients the practice work alongside within different sectors.
Knowledge or exposure to the preparation of management accounts as well as ability to complete VAT and CIS/returns
Ability to adapt accordingly to work pace changes whilst still being able to deliver results accurately in a timely manner.
Proficient and confident in communicating, required to be able to effectively build rapports with clients and the wider finance team.
