We are collaborating with a dynamic business that is at the forefront of innovation in the logistics sector. They are currently seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join their team, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking and supportive work environment.

As the Bookkeeper, your primary responsibilities will include overseeing weekly and monthly payroll, managing accounts payable and receivable, handling new accounts and credit limits, and addressing overdue accounts. You will also complete debtor reports, ensure ledger matching, maintain control accounts, process deferred payments, manage intercompany transactions, calculate accruals and pre-payments, and perform cash book and petty cash reconciliations.

Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in a similar role such as a Bookkeeper, Senior Accounts Assistant, or Accounts Supervisor.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail by ensuring all tasks are completed with a high degree including able to meticulously check work for errors.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, with prior experience using Sage 200, which would be advantageous but not essential
  • Strong knowledge and experience in processing weekly and monthly end-to-end payroll, including managing payroll calculations, deductions, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
