We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Development Representative to support this growing business in the UK & Ireland and North Europe where they already have a well-established presence with clients from private and public sector, transport operators, consultancy and research institutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in an office administration or sales development position that is keen to progress their career and diversify their skills and experience. 

Office: Birmingham

Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 dependent on experience

Hybrid working 

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively seek new leads through various channels such as email, phone, and social media, while informing potential clients about PTV software and scheduling meetings for the sales team.
  • Process sales inquiries and guide customers through each step of the sales process to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain customer records and support the sales team with account management.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including data entry, to keep all sales data current.
  • Prepare quotations and ensure timely order processing.
  • Manage existing contracts and oversee annual software renewals.
  • Coordinate with international departments to resolve customer issues.
  • Participate in events to identify new leads, and coordinate and schedule meetings for the sales team.
  • Organise training courses and annual client events.

Key Skills

  • A proactive and can-do attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Experience with sales development processes, CRM systems, and data entry tasks is desirable.
  • Ability to prioritise your workload, work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a focus on customer service, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, hard-working, and eager to learn.
