Primary School Caretaker/Site MaintenanceBased in Erdington, Birmingham£14 - £15phYour new company A Primary School based in Erdington, North Birmingham is looking for a temporary school caretaker to cover on an ongoing basis. The role will be to start at the beginning of January 2025 and is Monday to Friday, and a split shift, so hours will be 7am to 10.30am and then returning for 2.30pm to 6pm.Your new roleYou will be carrying out general caretaking duties which will include opening and closing the premises, basic maintenance/repairs, emptying bins, checking stock and restocking domestics/hygiene. The role will also include health and safety checks of grounds and opening and closing of the site. What you'll need to succeedExperience ideally of working as a caretaker within a school or similar background. You also need to have a recent enhanced DBS check and experience that Hays can reference.
