Temporary Front of House Receptionist
£13.30 per hour Full-Time Immediate Start
Location: The Colmore Building, Birmingham, B4 6AT
We are recruiting a Front of House Receptionist for a full-time temporary position, running until 7th February 2025. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, professionalism, and a passion for creating a welcoming environment.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 am - 5:30 pm
Pay Rate: £13.30 per hour
The Role:
As a Front of House Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for all visitors. You will provide a warm welcome, manage meeting room bookings, and maintain a tidy and well-organised reception area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage visitor bookings, pre-registration, and health and safety inductions.
- Provide a professional and friendly welcome, assisting with WiFi, refreshments, and cloakroom services.
- Ensure meeting rooms are set up correctly, including AV equipment checks and consumables replenishment.
- Book and manage hospitality arrangements, including refreshments and lunches.
- Liaise with contractors and maintain access control systems.
- Handle queries regarding local amenities, travel, and other guest needs.
Key Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to stay organised and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and professional approach to customer service.
- Previous reception or front-of-house experience is preferred.
