Back to searchAre you ready to make a significant impact in the Health and Social Care sector?We have partnered with a distinguished charity who are seeking an External Quality Assurer (EQA) to join their growing team! As an EQA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance and practical moderation.The role is homebased, however will require travel to centres nationally, the working hours are 35 per week and the role offers a competitive salary of £37,500 per annum. Main duties as a External Quality Assurer will include:• To plan, organise and conduct external verification visits to approved training Centres.• Assist in the Centre recognition process by undertaking approval visits with potential Centres.• Complete EV reports accurately and concisely within agreed timescales.• Identify action points and development areas for Centres where appropriate and provide support to achieve them.• Verify the judgement of internal quality assurers (IQAs) in Centres by sampling assessment activities.• Ensure that the resources allocated to the delivery of qualifications within approved Centres meets the needs of the Centre and the learners.• Conduct spot checks and complete appropriate reports and actions plans as and when required.• Design, develop and implement annual training and development plans for Centres.• Attend EQA standardisation or training meetings when required.Essential criteria for the role of External Quality Assurer role include:• Credible experience and expertise within the Health and Social Care sector• A Level 3 (or equivalent) learning and development qualification (e.g., PTLLS, Award in Education and Training, Certificate in Training Practice)• Experience in a regulated environment• Excellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred criteria for the role of External Quality Assurer include:• An appropriate assessor qualification (D32/D33 or A1/A2 or TAQA Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement) or working towards the (6312-41) External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (TAQA) or its equivalent (D35/V2)• Experience in quality assuring regulated qualifications for the Health and Social Care sectorFor more Information on the role please call Kirsty Chan on .We would like to thank you for taking the time to apply for this vacancy.
