Pricing Analyst

Location - Birmingham City Centre

Salary - £26,000 - £32,000

Our client, a leading company in Birmingham City Centre is looking for a detail-oriented Pricing Analyst to join their growing finance team on a permanent basis. This opportunity allows you to have the flexibility to make the role your own with fantastic career growth opportunities. You will play a pivotal role ensuring accuracy of the system for each site, purchase costs and retail prices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Management Accountant to implement cost and sales price changes approved by directors
  • Ensure accuracy of product cost prices and sales prices before released to site
  • Analyse price variances and discrepancies to aid with budgets
  • Proactively check for consistency of costs, and pricing across the group resolving any issues identifies
  • Demonstrate initiative to recommend process changes which will contribute to improved accuracy of transaction processing and stock records
  • Complete routine daily/weekly checks and processes required to ensure accuracy of the data
  • Log issues reported from site, stock audit team, operations team or finance team and manage through to effective resolution including liaising with system provider as required
