Oliver James are pleased to be working with a leading partner-led pensions consultancy seeking a Risk Transfer Consultant to help defined benefit pension schemes help settle liabilities and reduce riskYou will work to set the de-risking strategy and manage transactions for a range of client accounts, building relationships with key decision makers and delivery of advice to clients to play a key role in securing benefits for members. You will also have the opportunity to remain involved in ongoing trustee and corporate actuarial advice if you wish.Role requirements:

  • Ideally a nearly or newly qualified Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (or experienced part qualified)
  • Risk transfer experience would be beneficial, but this position is also open to candidates that are enthusiastic and keen to join this rapidly growing specialism
  • Experience and understanding of UK DB pensions
