Stanton House is exclusively partnering with a PE-backed services business in the Midlands to hire an M&A Consultant on a 6-month interim basis. The company, supported by a well-regarded large-cap fund, is preparing for a sale following several years of successful growth.

As an M&A Consultant you will be responsible for the following:

  • Support the CFO and FC with transaction-related information requirements including Financial, Tax, Legal and Commercial DD requests
  • Liaise with the Company's advisors to ensure the consistency and accuracy of key transaction documents, including the Information Memorandum, financial due diligence reports, executive presentations, bidder Q&A responses
  • Manage all information flows and requests from advisors
  • Ensure files and data is accurately stored
  • Maintain the Company's existing financial forecast model and ensure it is consistent with the Process Model being built by the Company's lead advisor
  • Support the Financial Controller with ad hoc financial projects

To be suitable, you must have the following:

  • Qualified Accountant with a strong M&A skillset and Transaction Services experience
  • Previously supported with a sale side transaction and be highly proficient with all aspects of DD
  • Available within 4 weeks
  • PE experience is essential
  • Able to commute to the office 3 days a week is essential (location in the Midlands to be confirmed)
