As a recruitment agency, we are searching for a motivated and well-organised Business Development Executive to join their team in the Midlands region.

About the Role

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and contributing to sales strategy. This position offers the opportunity to represent innovative capital equipment products, achieve sales targets, and collaborate closely with various departments to ensure top-tier customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and industry partners
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the Midlands region
  • Represent capital equipment products, meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of sales-related documents (warranty, service contracts, etc.)
  • Use CRM systems for call planning, sales forecasting, and market intelligence
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and generate leads
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of the plant/construction industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Experience in a similar role or industry – desirable
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets – desirable
  • Familiarity with CRM systems – desirable
