Business Development Manager - Mental Health Step-Down and Supported Living Care HomesLocation: England (Multiple Regions including West Midlands and South West)Sector: Mental Health & Supported Living Care ServicesSalary : £55k About the Role:Are you passionate about mental health care and making a positive impact on individuals' lives? We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team and help expand and strengthen our Mental Health Step-Down and Supported Living Care Homes across England. In this role, you'll be instrumental in driving business growth, managing stakeholder relationships, and launching new services that meet the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:* Develop & Implement Growth Strategies: Create and execute strategies to expand mental health step-down and supported living services across England.* Identify Opportunities: Source new business avenues, including partnerships, funding, and service expansion opportunities.* Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong connections with commissioners, local authorities, and healthcare professionals.* Oversee Service Launches: Lead the successful launch of new care services while ensuring they meet all regulatory and operational requirements.* Market Research: Identify service gaps and emerging demand trends to shape business strategy.* Proposals & Contracts: Develop and present compelling proposals to secure new contracts and funding.* Foster Innovation: Encourage continuous improvement and innovation within the organisation.* Collaboration: Work closely with operational teams to ensure services are delivered to the highest standards.* Compliance & Reporting: Monitor business performance and ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.* Industry Representation: Represent the organisation at key industry events and stakeholder meetings.

What We Are Looking For:* Experience in Business Development: Proven track record in business development within the mental health, supported living, or social care sector.* Knowledge of Supported Living: Strong understanding of mental health step-down services and supported living models.* Stakeholder Relationship Skills: Experience building and managing relationships with commissioners, local authorities, and NHS partners.* Service Development Expertise: Experience in launching and developing new care services.* Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with CQC regulations and compliance requirements.* Strategic Thinker: Ability to identify and seize growth opportunities.* Excellent Communication: Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.* Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects across different regions.* Travel Ready: Willingness to travel across England as required.This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in the expansion of a sector dedicated to mental health and supported living care.
