Key duties and responsibilities of the Conflicts Analyst:
- Reviewing new business intake requests and collating results for conflicts checks with resolutions and clearance on all issues
- Researching new client matters, coding of engagement letters to establish guidelines and documenting all actions on the conflicts database
- Working closely with the Ethics Committee, firm attorneys and all levels of firm administration, ensuring all levels of administration are inline with the firm policy guidelines
- Assist the Conflicts Supervisor with training Conflicts Analyst Assistants and new Analysts
- Prepare and implement screens/firewalls when required in all firm matters
The ideal Conflicts Analyst would:
- Have proven experience of Conflicts Analysis and Researching within a law firm
- Be detail orientated, flexible in regard to scheduling to accommodate work demands and ability to multi-task
- Have excellent Microsoft package experience, including Word, Office and Excel
- Be a fantastic communicator, both written and verbally
- Have experience in a legal office environment
