We are seeking a dedicated Paraplanner to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring that all investment information provided to clients meets the highest standards of accuracy and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and the regulatory environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Receive instructions and interpret data from advisers following client meetings.
  • Analyse client data using research tools to provide tailored solutions that meet client needs and objectives.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation including suitability letters, client-specific illustrations, and key feature documents.
  • Ensure all client files are compliant and prepared for reviews.
  • Produce and check suitability reports as required, ensuring all activities align with compliance procedures.
  • Use research software tools effectively to support recommendations (e.g., Aequos, Morningstar, Selectapension).
  • Manage and process both online and paper-based applications for life, investment, and pension products.
  • Maintain a comprehensive diary and notes system for all business activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Detailed knowledge of financial markets and investment products.
  • Experience in a similar Paraplanner role, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in using financial planning software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant financial qualifications are highly advantageous.
