Bennett and Game have partnered with an independently owned construction product supplier located in Birmingham. With over 60 years' experience in the UK market, the company have gone from strength-to-strength and are now looking for an entrepreneurial minded Manager to join their branch in the Midlands. In addition to a salary around 50,000 per annum, you will be joining a business where your voice will be heard and be able to have a huge impact on the way the branch operates.



Branch Manager Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: 50k per annum
  • Holiday: 21 days plus bank holidays
  • Pension: Company Pension Scheme Enrolment at entry level
  • Business Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30-5:00pm, Friday 8:30-4:30pm
  • Company Bonus Incentive: Paid as a percentage of overachieved Gross Profit Monthly
  • Company Car Incentive and Business Miles Expenditure



Branch Manager Job Overview

  • To manage the team and run the branch.
  • To assist the transport manager with the daily operations within the department where necessary.
  • To grow the sales and enhance the margin exceeding budgets set.
  • To meet branch and personal KPI's set.
  • To identify new opportunities within the branch/business to grow sales and enhance the margin.
  • To learn every aspect of Fabrication, including a full understanding of costs and meet quality control standards.
  • To liaise with transport management regarding staff/vehicle requirements.
  • To keep in line with Health & Safety measures to ensure a safe and smooth running of the branch for its staff, customers and suppliers.
  • To train staff wherever necessary to keep the business running as efficiently as possible with no gaps.


Branch Manager Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in buying and selling products
  • Managing and developing a team
  • Excellent negotiating skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, and a demonstrable ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
