We're recruiting for an experienced and driven Building Manager to join a premium Build to Rent (BTR) operator at the forefront of modern urban living.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping a thriving residential community, working with a design-led and customer-focused brand that's redefining the rental experience in the UK.

About the Role

As Building Manager, you'll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of a high-quality residential development. You'll lead customer service delivery, manage contractors and repairs, support onsite staff, and ensure health & safety compliance across the building.

You'll be the face of the development - creating a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment where residents feel at home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for residents, ensuring a professional and proactive approach to all enquiries and concerns

  • Oversee the presentation and maintenance of communal areas and apartments

  • Manage ongoing repairs and ensure contractor performance meets required standards

  • Lead onsite staff, including concierge and administrative support, handling rota planning, training, and reviews

  • Maintain full compliance across health and safety areas including gas, electric, fire, and water systems

  • Coordinate lettings activity, including viewings, check-ins, renewals, and deposit management

  • Approve invoices, monitor daily spend, and support budget planning

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in property management (Build to Rent or PRS a real plus)

  • Excellent communication, customer service and people management skills

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

  • Comfortable managing teams and working with third-party contractors

  • Strong IT proficiency - ideally with experience using Qube, FixFlo, Hubspot or similar platforms

Desirable Qualifications

  • IRPM or ARLA qualification

  • Familiarity with BTR-specific operational models
