The Role
As the Senior Pricing Analyst reporting into the Pricing & Sales Enablement Director, you will work with colleagues and clients initially in the UK&I, and thereafter in Belgium and the Netherlands once the UK&I capability has been established. The overarching objective of the role is to support OASIS market growth aspirations through the acquisition of profitable business with new clients and to grow our share of wallet with existing clients.
This role requires applicants to be within a commutable distance to one of our following offices, Birmingham, Brackmills, Stanford-le-hope and Winchester.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain accurate cost models for OASIS products and solutions.
- Build and maintain accurate pricing models for OASIS products and solution enabling OASIS to position compelling commercial proposals.
- Work with the deal pursuit teams to establish price requirements on deals.
- Manage bid proposals to submit pricing responses into client formats.
- Build key deal P&Ls and cashflow statements for the deal term to support the deal approvals process within the Deal Acceleration Framework.
- Develop an understanding of competitor price points and commercial propositions, enabling OASIS to anticipate competitor offers and price to win.
- Review and improve pricing processes, creating new workflows and processes where they do not exist, constantly identifying opportunity and areas to develop.
- Support the development for pricing of key tools such as Salesforce, working closely with Sales Operations and broader Commercial team to understand how to improve these tools and whether/how features such as CPQ could add value to our teams.
- Seek ways of automating smaller simpler deal P&Ls.
- Working with the UK&I Finance Business Partner and wider Finance team, to keep cost models up to date and relevant by geography and by product.
- Incorporating strategic plan assumptions into pricing and cost models.
- Support new product developments with cost and pricing model builds to help shape Go to Market proposals.
- Share best practice with the wider Commercial team.
Candidate Requirements
- Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail.
- Experienced in advanced excel.
- Experience of building cost base and pricing models or similar business cases.
- Experienced in P&L and cashflow models.
- Ideally finance qualified accountant.
- Comfortable working at pace and managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Confidence to present own analysis to key stakeholders with a mix of commercial and non-commercial backgrounds.
- Independent thinker, able to create, plan and prioritise own workload.
