A niche manufacturing company which produces specialist products for worldwide distribution are recruiting for a sales administrator on an initial 12 month contract to join their growing sales support office.
Reporting to the Sales Office Supervisor and working as part of a friendly and sociable team, this is an ideal opportunity to further enhance your sales administration skills, alongside developing specialist product and industry knowledge.
Typical daily tasks will include -
- Responsible for your own client base, you will provide a full sales order processing service to UK and International clients, building effective working relations and accurately processing orders to meet customer demand.
- You will regularly liaise with clients by phone and email to handle order enquiries and requests for quotes, ensuring regular communication with clients throughout the order process.
- You will communicate across various internal departments to ensure sufficient stock levels and to accurately instruct on bespoke order requirements, whilst managing customer expectations regarding product availability and delivery.
- Accurately process all associated administrative and finance procedures relating to sales orders.
Skills & experience required -
- To be considered, you will have previous administration and sales order processing experience, along with excellent customer service skills, both verbal and written.
- Due to the nature of the business, the role of Sales Administrator demands exceptional attention to detail, confident communication skills and a positive and supportive attitude towards teamwork.
- An assertive approach and the confidence to communicate with all levels of seniority.
- A mature, trustworthy and conscientious manner.
- A working knowledge of Access Dimensions (ERP system) would be beneficial, however training will be provided.
- A strong desire to learn business processes and to develop industry knowledge.
- Above all, you will demonstrate an enthusiastic and 'can do’ attitude towards teamwork, as well as a strong desire to learn and become a significant part of a highly successful business.
