Job Title: Collections and Delivery Driver
Location: Wednesbury
Job Details:
- Salary: £12.50 per hour
- Schedule: 3 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
- Flexibility: Some flexibility required to cover holidays or sickness.
Job Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Collection and Delivery: Collect care parts from suppliers and dealerships, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to clients using a company vehicle.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service during all interactions, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Vehicle Checks: Conduct basic checks on vehicles upon collection, including filling in chassis receipts to ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
- Public Transport: Occasionally drop off vehicles and return via public transport when required.
- Parts Collection: Occasionally collect parts from suppliers using the company van, ensuring all items are securely transported.
- Driver Collection: Occasionally collect drivers from handovers, ensuring smooth transitions and timely pickups.
Job Requirements:
- Driving Skills: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients.
- Flexibility: Ability to work 3 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) with some flexibility required to cover holidays or sickness.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to conduct basic vehicle checks and complete necessary documentation accurately.
- Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
