CLASS 1 Driver - January Start - 16.00 per hour - ongoing work - STARTING IN JANUARY

We've partnered with this client since 2011, with many of our drivers successfully moving into permanent positions. Your role as an Class 1 driver - January Start

• Sequencing working: moving trailers between sites, easy workload.
• Efficient & safe deliveries: ensure timely, accurate deliveries while adhering to safety regulations.
• Communication: keep in regular contact with the depot and clients to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 12 months experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver.
• Full in-date CPC, tachograph card, and driving licence.
• Must have held an HGV class 1 licence for at least 12 months.
• Good attention to detail: ensuring safe movement of trailers.
• A positive attitude, flexibility, and confidence on the road.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
• Willing to complete an on-site induction prior to January.

Pay & benefits

• 16.00/17.00 per hour (Monday to Friday DEPENDANT ON HOURS) + holiday entitlement.
• Ongoing role: secure long-term employment after a successful probationary period.

• Light delivery schedule with site-to-site sequencing and trunking.
• 10 - 12 hour shifts typically
• Occasional weekend shifts available for those interested in extra hours.
