Ignition Driver Recruitment is looking for Class 1 Drivers in Birmingham with only 3 months of commercial driving experience required.
The position offers an attractive pay rate of up to £43.76 per hour, with guaranteed 8 hours paid on certain days.
Drivers will be responsible for delivering chilled and ambient goods to stores, along with routine vehicle checks.
Shift patterns include Thursday to Monday, with start times between 22:00 and 03:00, requiring weekend availability.
Successful applicants will benefit from fully paid induction and training, as well as flexible working hours and generous holidays.

Do you have a full UK HGV Class 1 Driving Licence?
Do you have 3 months commercial driving experience?
Do you have an in-date DCPC and Digi Tacho Card?

You will be asked to complete a full Drug & Alcohol test and also a driving assessment.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.Responsibilities & Duties for HGV Class 1 Drivers:

Driving a Class 1 vehicle
Delivering chilled & ambient goods to stores throughout Birmingham
Cage & Pallet work (you will need to pull the cages & pallets onto the tail lift and the store will take them off for you)
Routine vehicle checks pre and post-shift

TheShift times & working hours of an HGV Class 1 Driver:

Different start times (24-hour operation)
- Thursday to Monday
- 22:00 - 03:00 start times
7-day operation - plenty of shifts available
Working pattern must include weekend work
