Ignition Driver Recruitment is looking for qualified Class 1 Drivers in Birmingham with only 3 months of commercial driving experience required.
Drivers can earn up to £43.76 per hour and are guaranteed 8 hours of paid work on certain days.
The role involves delivering chilled and ambient goods to stores, with responsibilities including routine vehicle checks and cage and pallet work.
Candidates must possess a full UK HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, an in-date DCPC, and a Digi Tacho Card, and will undergo a drug and alcohol test.
Flexible working hours are available, with shifts primarily from Thursday to Monday, starting between 22:00 and 03:00.

Do you have a full UK HGV Class 1 Driving Licence?

You will be asked to complete a full Drug & Alcohol test and also a driving assessment.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.Responsibilities & Duties for HGV Class 1 Drivers:

Driving a Class 1 vehicle
Delivering chilled & ambient goods to stores throughout Birmingham
Cage & Pallet work (you will need to pull the cages & pallets onto the tail lift and the store will take them off for you)
Routine vehicle checks pre and post-shift

TheShift times & working hours of an HGV Class 1 Driver:

Different start times (24-hour operation)
- Thursday to Monday
- 22:00 - 03:00 start times
7-day operation - plenty of shifts available
Working pattern must include weekend work
