Ignition Driver Recruitment is actively seeking qualified Class 1 Drivers in Birmingham, to work for one of the UK's leadingsupermarket chains, working on night shifts.
- Earn up to £43.76p/h
- Guaranteed 8 hours paid (working certain days)
- Paid induction and training
- Paid breaks
- Do you havea full UK HGV Class 1 Driving Licence?
- Do you have3 months commercial driving experience?
- Do you have an in-date DCPC and Digi Tacho Card?
Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, butno DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
Responsibilities & Duties for HGV Class 1Drivers:
- Driving a Class 1vehicle
- Delivering chilled & ambient goods to stores throughoutBirmingham
- Cage & Pallet work (you will need to pull the cages & pallets onto the tail lift and the store will take them off for you)
- Routine vehicle checks pre and post-shift
TheShift times & working hours of an HGV Class 1 Driver:
- Different start times (24-houroperation)
- Thursday to Monday
- 22:00 - 03:00start times
- 7-day operation - plenty of shifts available
- Working pattern must include weekend work
