People Solutions are looking for a Class 1 Driver for our client based in Aston, Birmingham.

This role will involve trunking between depots.

Day to Day Duties

Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Maintain accurate records of shipments, mileage, and fuel consumption
Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills

Hold a valid UK CE Licence
Have at least twelve months experience driving/operating Class 1 vehicles
No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes
Have a valid UK CPC Card and Digi Card
Punctuality and good time-keeping skills
Ability to adhere to deadlines
