We've partnered with this client since 2011, with many of our drivers successfully moving into permanent positions. Your role as an HGV class 1 driver

• Sequencing working: moving trailers between sites, easy workload
• Efficient & safe deliveries: ensure timely, accurate deliveries while adhering to safety regulations
• Communication: keep in regular contact with the depot and clients to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• A minimum of 12 months experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver
• Full in-date CPC, tachograph card, and driving licence
• Must have held an HGV class 1 licence for at least 12 months
• Good attention to detail: ensuring safe movement of trailers
• A positive attitude, flexibility, and confidence on the road
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
• Willing to complete an on-site induction prior to January

Pay & benefits

• £16.00 per hour (Monday to Friday) + holiday entitlement
• Ongoing role: secure long-term employment after a successful probationary period

• Light delivery schedule with site-to-site sequencing and trunking
• 10 - 12 hour shifts typically
• Occasional weekend shifts available for those interested in extra hours
