  • Newly passed drivers are welcome to apply, although experience in furniture delivery or removals is preferable.
  • Responsibilities include safely loading and unloading goods, following delivery schedules, and performing vehicle inspections.
  • Candidates must also adhere to traffic laws and may be required to work with a driver's mate.
We are currently looking to recruit for a Class 2 driver for a temp to perm contract in Birmingham.

Role requirements of a Class 2 driver:
  • Monday - Friday work
  • Starts between 6-7am
  • Valid, in-date CPC and Tacho Card
  • £14 per hour (£15.69ph including holiday)- rises to £15 per hour when permanent after 12 full weeks of work
  • Newly passed drivers welcome to apply
  • Experience doing furniture delivery / removals (even as a van driver or mate) would be preferable

Responsibilities of aClass 2 driver:
  • Safely operate and work as a Class 2 driver to load/unload goods from homes/offices
  • Work as part of a team to clear properties
  • Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
  • This role will involve handball and you will need to have a knowledge of hand & power tools
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during transportation
  • Working with a drivers mate
