MONDAY TO SATURDAY 08:00-10:00 AM STARTS

PAY RATE: £16.00 - £18.50 PER HOUR

Rates of Pay:

• Basic: £16.00 per hour
• Saturday : £18.50 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Pallet work with frozen food- use of tail lift
• Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively and work in a team with drivers mates
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed, handball involved
• Deliver to restaurants, pubs , up to 8 drops a day maximum

Essential Skills

As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
• Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving Category C vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
• Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial
