Trade Engineer - Carpenter (Multi Skilled)Annual Salary: £36,785Location: Birmingham B37Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated individual who is passionate about making a real difference in housing through our Maintenance Operations team.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Carry out repairs in a social housing setting relating to residential properties, public buildings, and commercial properties.
  • Utilise a wide range of multi-skilling abilities in other trades in addition to carpentry, including plumbing, wall tiling, decorating, plastering, bricklaying, fencing, slabbing, and roofing.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety best practices and procedures.
  • Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and professional service.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Craft City & Guilds or S/NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Proven ability in all aspects of Carpentry and associated skills, including diagnosis of work problems.
  • Experience of Carpentry repairs to tenanted and empty homes.
  • Experience in the social housing sector and delivering maintenance of occupied properties is preferable.
