One Call Consultants are currently looking for a Multi Skilled Carpenter for a good client of ours based in Birmingham.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be adept at assembling and fabricating wooden structures and fixtures; This role also requires experience with other trades such as plumbing. Jobs will vary and cover all trades inclusive of but not limited to; general repairs and maintenance, plumbing, office, and warehouse refurbishments.
For the right candidate this can be a temporary to permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and fabricate wooden structures, including frameworks and doors.
- Plumb structures accurately to ensure level and straight installations.
- Perform installations, reactive repairs, and replacements on commercial sites.
- Operate all tools and equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturers instructions to avoid accidents.
- Use a wide range of power and hand tools in a safe manner.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of both hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry work.
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, including assembly, masonry, joinery, painting, and plumbing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
