VGC Group are looking for experienced Joiners to start on a project in B46 1TJ. This contract is available to start ASAP,and we can offer up to 3 years to a successful candidate.

Joiner with suitable shuttering experience:

Your role as a Joiner will be based in B46 1TJ and will consist of:

  • Use architectural and engineering drawings, as well as specifications, to determine the dimensions, shape, and layout of the formwork required for a particular concrete structure.
  • Build formwork according to the specified dimensions and shape outlined in the plans. This involves cutting, shaping, and joining the materials to create molds to contain the poured concrete.
  • Set up the formwork in its designated position, ensuring that it is securely anchored and properly aligned. This involves using a variety of tools and equipment, such as hammers, nails, screws, and braces, to assemble and fasten the formwork components.
  • Once the concrete has sufficiently cured and attained the required strength, the shuttering carpenter / Joiner dismantles the formwork. This process involves carefully removing the formwork components without damaging the hardened concrete structure.

 Based in B46 1TJ remuneration for this role is £22.04 per hour, you will accrue holiday entitlement and be eligible to join the VGC pension scheme once certain criteria have been met.
