Job Description:We are seeking talented and experienced chefs to join our agency. As an agency chef, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, working under the supervision of the Head Chef to deliver high-quality dishes consistently. You will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that all preparations, cooking, and plating are executed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu specifications and recipes provided.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the designated section, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as required.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a professional kitchen environment.
- Proficiency in various cooking techniques and a strong understanding of culinary fundamentals.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality cuisine.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required.
