Field Service Engineer – Gas Generator

Salary: £35k - £45k

Location: Midlands & North

With exclusive partnerships with some of the most well-known OEM’s as well as valued clients consisting of huge pharmaceutical companies across the UK and Europe, this would be a great opportunity for an experienced engineer to be in a senior position with broad responsibilities and further OEM training.

 

In this Field Service Engineer position, an engineer can expect:

  • Full-service support on a range of Gas Generators and Gas Chromatography instruments.
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues related to product performance.
  • Performing service, maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting.
  • Calibrating customer equipment in accordance with specified standards.
  • Proactively engage with customers to build relationships and improve service
  • Providing remote technical support to customers.
  • Complete accurate supporting documentation.
  • OEM training and skills development.

 

A suitable candidate for this service engineer position would need:

  • Minimum of HNC or degree level of education in an engineering or science based discipline
  • Significant experience working with Gas Generators and/or Gas chromatography.
  • Full UK right to work and UK driving License.
  • Knowledge of labs-based software and applications
  • Motivated and eager to learn.
