Are you a Food Technologist looking for an exciting new role at a growing new business who have started up last year and have since received the overwhelming support of their global partner, with plans to scale up?

Do you want to join a close knit team of industry experts in a role that offers a supportive mentorship program for the successful individual to allow for career progression into Technical Management?

On offer is an exciting opportunity to join a partner of a global brand who have gone from strength to strength since the 1960s from humble origins of a small market stall who now dominate the UK Food and Produce industry. This company have grown since they began in 2023 and are now looking to hire in the next generation of their brand.

In this role you will work from a high tech lab in Birmingham to assist with audits, quality checks and maintain a high level of standards to a global business with regular travel to clients in Spalding and Kent. This is a varied role for a food technologist that can offer great progression opportunities and the chance to quickly progress with extensive one on one training from industry experts.

The ideal Food Technologist will be qualified with a degree or similar and have experience in a technician role and be keen to add value to a growing business.

The Role:

  • Working with a close knit team to ensure food quality standards.
  • Lab testing and assessment of fruit and veg.
  • Regular travel to clients in Spalding and Kent.

The Person:

  • Hold a degree in Food Technology or similar.
  • Have experience in a Technologist position, ideally with fruit and veg.
  • Local to Birmingham and happy to travel to Spalding and Kent.
