Applications Engineer - Electrical bias. Our client is a dynamic and innovative precision engineering company at the forefront of cutting-edge solutions. With a passion for excellence and a commitment to solving complex challenges, their products have gained recognition worldwide. As they continue to expand their offerings, they are seeking a talented and motivated Applications Engineer to join their team. This role would be based onsite in the West Midlands with occasional UK and International site visits in which you could be away for a week at a time.
Applications Engineer key responsibilities:
- Customer Support: Work directly with customers to identify their technical needs, troubleshoot issues, and provide expert guidance on our products' optimal usage.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations, commissioning and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our solutions to potential clients.
- Pre-Sales Assistance: Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process, assisting in proposal preparation, and addressing technical queries from clients.
- Design Engineering: Analyse customer requirements and design product solutions that align with their specific needs, maximising the value of our products.
- Feedback and Improvement: Gather customer feedback and insights to contribute to product improvement and inform the development team of potential enhancements.
Applications Engineer requirements:
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to use 3D CAD Software ideally solidworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Electrical bias with some commissioning experience.
- Skills such as SCADA and PLCs is desirable and happiness to be away from home for a week at a time around 5 times a year.
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday
