Join the team as a BIM & Digital Engineering Specialist, where you'll lead the way in managing and assuring high-quality digital data across exciting and complex projects. You'll work closely with contractors, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure that digital engineering processes are efficient, accurate, and meet the highest standards. This is a hands-on role where you'll solve problems, improve processes, and drive innovation in digital delivery.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Digital Processes: Review contractors' BIM Execution Plans, audit processes, and ensure delivery plans (MIDP/IDP) are accurate and effective.
  • Ensure Data Quality: Check digital design data (asset, CAD, GIS) to ensure it's right the first time and meets project standards.
  • Support & Guide Teams: Provide expertise to project managers, engineers, and contractors, helping them improve their digital engineering capabilities.
  • Collaborate & Innovate: Work with central teams to solve problems, streamline processes, and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Monitor & Report: Track and report on project performance, ensuring timely metrics and feedback to drive success.

What you will bring:

  • Strong knowledge of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, PAS1192).
  • Proficiency in digital tools like ProjectWise and managing CAD, GIS, or asset data.
  • Experience with systems assurance and common data environments.
  • Skilled in analysing data, improving processes, and managing technical information in complex projects.
  • Confident in explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences and delivering engaging training sessions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to build positive relationships.
  • Background in BIM/Digital Engineering within engineering, consultancy, or rail-related projects is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, deliver high-quality results, and adapt to changing demands.
