Our client, in Walsall, are loooking to hire a Prevention & Reintegration Senior Officer in the school attendance support service to manage a small team of attendance officers. This is a temporary position for up to 6 months with a view to extension and is offered on a hybrid working basis.
Educated to degree level or equivalent (NVQ 5).
Proven leadership and managerial experience, with evidence of continued professional development.
Strong understanding of the needs and entitlements of vulnerable children, including those with behavioural difficulties, special educational needs, or emotionally based school avoidance.
Comprehensive knowledge of school systems, statutory guidance, and current legislation.
Experience working in schools and/or local authorities, with expertise in supporting vulnerable learners.
Skilled in multi-agency working and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
