We’re looking for a proactive Account Manager to lead the development and management of large utility accounts, working closely with customers to expand our portfolio and grow sales volume and gross margins. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset, eager to deliver customized solutions that generate recurring revenue and deepen client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you’ll be instrumental in expanding our footprint through both existing and new client relationships. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Account Management & Growth: Serve as the primary Account Manager, identifying new opportunities within existing accounts and bringing in new clients to fuel portfolio growth.
  • Customer Solutions & Strategy: Develop solutions based on client needs, focusing on long-term engagement and recurring revenue. Work to implement strategic plans specifically targeted at growing large utility accounts.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong, meaningful relationships with stakeholders at all levels within key accounts, positioning us as their go-to partner.
  • Proposals & Forecasting: Prepare and follow up on proposals, maintain accurate pipeline data within the CRM, and provide sales forecasts to the Sales Director.
  • Collaboration & Compliance: Work with internal teams to support invoice payments, ensure compliance with sales policies, and contribute insights for product development based on market and customer needs.

What You’ll Bring

  • Education & Experience: An HND or degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Experience in machine learning, AI, data acquisition, or telemetry equipment is a plus, as is familiarity with the wastewater industry.
  • Sales & Strategic Insight: Minimum of 2 years in a customer-facing commercial role, with a knack for contract negotiation and the ability to craft go-to-market strategies.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and IT tools, with strong analytical skills to drive data-backed decisions.
