Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Bathrooms

Area to be covered: Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, West Midlands, Warwickshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Mid-Wales and part of Derbyshire

Remuneration: £42,500 Neg. + £15,000 Commission/ Bonus

Benefits: Hybrid or electric car & benefitsThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Bathrooms will involve:

  • Field sales position selling our clients mid-premium manufactured range of contemporary bathrooms (50% brassware, 25% bathroom furniture and 25% shower doors)
  • Responsible for 200+ accounts, 50+ key accounts
  • Customer focus will be predominantly independent retailers, and showrooms within buying group members (small amount of time with plumbers merchants)
  • Account management led role, typically 4-5 customer visits per day
  • Responsible for gaining commitment in respect of point of sale displays
  • Responsible for £2.5m+ ledger
  • 100% sold direct to retail showrooms
  • Our client is launching new bathroom ranges this year

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Bathrooms with:

  • Field sales experience from the bathroom industry (open to KBB sector)
  • Must have sold into independent retail showrooms, buying groups or plumbers merchants
  • May consider working for a bathroom retail showroom looking for 1st field sales role, with plenty of sales experience
  • Fire in the belly
  • Capable of treating the area as if it was your own franchise/ business
  • Autonomous in approach and excellent communicator
  • Good presentation skills
