Our client is a leading laboratory equipment distributor, supplying research laboratories across the UK with high quality laboratory equipment; ranging from fume hoods to automated liquid handlers.

They’re offering an area sales manager position, with fantastic commission and benefits, to candidates that prove they have the right attitude to succeed in this successful team.

In this role you will aim to visit customers regularly, to build strong, lasting relationships in order to create revenue generating opportunities with existing accounts and new customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing sales plans to grow current client accounts and identify new business opportunities
  • Prospecting & following-up on leads
  • Technical and commercial follow-ups with customers and arranging/hosting customer demos
  • Working closely with customers to ensure they have the correct solutions, support and assistance required
  • Attending talks, conferences and national & international meetings

Mandatory requirements include:

  • BSc (Bachelor of Science) minimum in Chemistry, Life Science or related field
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship
  • UK Drivers Licence
