A newly created role, we’re looking for an experienced Brand Manager to work with our client who is a wholesaler of hair and beauty products; it’s an exciting opportunity to really help the brand grow and achieve its ambitious targets.

The role:

This is a classic brand manager role, where you will be responsible for the management, development and growth of the brand, working closely with the General Manager. You’ll develop strategies for growth across new product development, product design, in store merchanising, product promotions, custome acquisition and retention, digital and printed content and social media.

You’ll develop a 12 month rolling brand calendar and will work with external agencies to create and manage all the marketing material, whether this be POS or merchandising material, collateral for presence at trade shows or digital content. You’ll have full management of the marketing budget and will have responsibility for the brand’s website and social media accounts, and you’ll be constantly developing and managing ambassadors of the brand/

You’ll measure and report on all new products launched and will monitor and product monthly sales analysis and insights. You’ll also get out and about, visiting suppliers and customers as well as monitoring competitors through market research.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who is a proven Brand Manager - this is a stand-alone marketing role, so you’ll need to be confident and happy to manage your own workload. You must have experience of managing new product development, as well as websites, social media, ideally from a beauty environment, however, other FMCG environment experience would also be considered. You’ll be experienced in content generation, managing social media campaigns and classic brand management programmes.

What’s on Offer?

Salary for the role is between £40-50,000 depending on experience for a 36.5 hour week, and is a hybrid role - 3 days in the office. You’ll be based in offices in Birmingham, however some travel should be expected including to Glasgow 3 or 4 times per year.
