Role: -Business Development Manager- Food BRCGS AuditsLocation: -Fully Remote Salary:-Competitive salaryBenefits:-Bonus/commission structure (up to max 20%) paid quarterly, car allowance, 25 days holiday plus BH, pension (3%/5%), life assurance x 2, retail discount vouchers, paid time off to volunteer, professional development, personal wellbeing incentives & online GP services.Russell Taylor Group have a fantastic opportunity for a BDM specialising in sales of food second party audits (specifically BRCGS audits) to join a growing division of a Global Testing, Inspection and Certification company. The purpose of this role is to bring in new clients within with the Food industry and help to support the audit of the supply chain. It is therefore essential that the individual has previous experience of selling technical services to the food and retail sectors and can hit the ground running.The role is fully remote, with the occasional client visit when required, otherwise all selling will be done via outbound calls, teams meetings, email and networking/LinkedIn. Quarterly in person meetings will be held with the small team and location will vary.This is a cold desk, and you will be expected to come in and generate your own leads, but this role offers a great opportunity and challenge for someone who is looking to develop and build upon their career where you are in control of your own desk with no micromanagement. The Role• Generate new leads, identify opportunities, meet clients and close business deals through telephone activity, social media and complete the whole sales cycles from start to finish.• Outbound calling to potential food and retail companies.• Work to activity, pipeline and forecast KPIs and work to target.• Deliver high levels of customer service and building strong relationships with clients• Update the CRM across the organisation to create leads with cross-selling colleagues.• Look to enhance any existing relationships. • Hunt for new business in areas where trends have been identified. • Negotiate pricing for each contract and ensuring that you are maximising profitability.• Forecast any budget sales.• Maintain and understand the wider marketplace and identify customer needs. • Deliver professional presentations to potential new customers.The Person• Must have previous experience of selling technical services to the food and retail sector.• Resilient, energetic, focused and organised.• Strong track record of navigating complex negotiations• Ability to handle objections.• Process driven.• Fast Learner• Good understanding of compliance within an organisation.• Hunting/cold calling ability Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
